SARAH O'Hare sang in the shower to sell Decore shampoo and Rachel Hunter asked people restoring their split ends with Pantene to be patient.

Newcastle model Michelle Lobb looks set to join their ranks as the next ``face" of international hair care company Schwarzkopf.

The 18-year old daughter of Wickham publicans will learn today if she will be appearing on billboards and advertisements throughout Europe.

It is understood the model could be paid up to 3500 Euros ($5990) for appearances in an upcoming marketing campaign, to be shot in Germany.

Lobb is in Hamburg, accompanied by mother Sharon, attending casting calls for the German Promod Modelling Agency as she competes against models from across the world.

Lobb's father Ian said he was ``99per cent sure" his daughter would feature in Schwarzkopf advertising.

``She's playing with the big kids ... she's got a fairly level head and can see through all the cattiness and the jealously," Mr Lobb said.

``And she has a perfect profile, which is great for those hairdressing shots.

``There's been talk she looks a bit like Claudia Schiffer."
